Lake Wylie Long Line 4/12/2017
Went Monday and only caught 5 with roadrunners 1/16th. Met Charles out there and talking with him should have had minnows also. So I decided to change tactics and went Wednesday. Tactics:
1. Take roadrunners off and go with 1/16th jigs with big sickle hook.
2. Use Strike King Slabalicious Paddle Tails.
3. Take 5 dozen minnows.
4. Long line with tipped jigs with minnows.
5. Take a Dr. Pepper to annoint the day's fishing.
Just got 4 rods in water then bam a double.

Catching quality fish and my good friend who is retired from 30 years of service in Marines and Air Force kept saying take a pic. I'm thinking I cant take a pic of every fish but we were catching a lot of quality slabs.
Caught 4 kitties here is one of them.

Along comes a bass.

Ended up with 19 slabs in boat says the clicker. I release all the fish but kept the Perch. Tally 19 crappie in boat. 1 green carp. 4 Kitties and 9 Perch. :deadhorse Wanted to release the slabs to go and make babies. Got plenty in freezer.
Ended the day with this slab. I think my friend and I had a great time.
