Chattanooga TN Newbie

Hey folks, I am new to the area (here for college) and I am looking for a place where I can bank fish for crappie on Chickamauga Lake and the immediate area. I do not have a boat so places that are inaccessible without a boat are off limits. I have only ever caught one Crappie in my life and it was on the finger lakes in NY. I want very badly to get in to Crappie fishing while I am down here. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
