Wylie 4-9-17

Back out this morning by 8. Fish were just about in the same place as last week in 16 to 20'. They were biting jigs tipped with minnows. The bite was hot when I started & stay good till I ran out of minnows.

Bubblegum with yellow tails & blue with a light blue tail were hot all morning. I tried just jigs after I ran out of minnows but the bite was very slow. Only caught about 6 perch today(good thing for a change).

Caught about 30 crappies but only kept 20. It was hard throwing back 1 to 11/2 lb fish. But, they will be there tomorrow for someone.

Charles, that's a great report! I was wondering if anyone went out today. Don't worry, I'll not be chasing them tomorrow, I have to do the dirty word again. Was the water color a good tint after this rain we had? Man you did good. Thanks for the info!:highfive
