Squirmy Wormy

Does anyone use the "Squirmy Wormy"? If you do, how are you using it and what do you catch with it, crappie, sun fish etc.? Pop

I always thought it was a trout lure. I don't see why it wouldn't work for panfish.

I use it for bluegill flies.

I'm thinking it will work well for pan fish also. How do you use it for bluegill flies?

Google San Juan Worm. I tie them with and without a bead. When I use a bead I use a red glass bead from the craft store tied in the middle of the shank rather than at the head. It makes the worm sink level instead of head down, so it sinks a bit slower that way. If I fish one without a bead I will normally use a tiny split shot about 6" to 8" above the worm on the leader.
