Upper Lake Marion help

Still thinking of going next week for mainly shellcracker. Full moon on Tuesday. If I go on Wednesday do you think yesterday's rain will hurt me? Does it get and stay muddy easily? Thanks

It's been pretty clean/clear water lately. I can probably drive by the stumphole ramp tomorrow (and this weekend) and let you know what it looks like. And with no rain in the forecast it should be starting to clear after a week. This is really my first season trying for crappie and shellcracker (and I can't get out to often) so I wish I had some more experience to share, but your timing should be really good with the full moon.

Got by on my way home today and Poplar creek looked good. Stumphole was stained until you hit the mud line after that it was pretty muddy. Should be slowly getting better without anymore monsoon's.
