Does anyone night fish for crappie this time of year. If so how do you go about it is it the same as you would in July?
I've been night stalking only once this spring, but we set up near where you would find crappie during the day. By that I mean probably not in the main channel. But back towards more shallow water. Still in 20' or so of water.
I don't know how much crappie move around at night so i could be off base in my thinking here but we did pretty good that night.

You can nightstalk any time you want to. Time of year don't mean a lot. Like said, pick a spot where crappies are caught and find the bait and set up. Some of us have done it in the dead of winter and had a good time. :fish
I heard of a guy that fished the Ebenezer Bridge on Jordan lake every Monday night, year round.
So if they are spawning how would you set up on them
They don't all spawn at once so I'd still set up like I described
