That's a huge fish. I saw a video that showed him getting that fish out of the live well. It ain't trick angles or anything, that fish is HUGE.

That is a whopper...if it ain't a state record, I'll like to see the state record. That is a sho'nuff slab right there. Look how big it's mouth is. A Bud can will fit with room to spare.....what a crappie....WTG
4 pounds 8.8 ounces. The fish is going to its new home in an aquarium in Peoria Illinois. The previous record was 4 5.2 and was a hybrid from Rend Lake, caught in 1976. The Illinois DNR is waiting for DNA to determine if this fish is a black or a hybrid.
