At least you caught something David! I was working and only snagged a bass popping lure and an old swim bait plus a cut on the finger. But at least you had fun trying out the new fish finder and getting some stink on the boat. :fish Great pictures!:popcorn
Good catch David thanks for sharing
So how did the Helix work?
Hartwell has always been a tough lake in later years to catch crappie, cut my teeth on hartwell back when it was filling up. Caught my first crappie there. Thanks for the post.
THE HELIX 5 D/I WORKS GOOD I HAD MY 7 RIGHT BESIDE IT AND BOTH WERE GOOD AND CLEAR
I WANTED TO COMPARE THE SCREEN SHOT AND THEY WERE DEAD ON I THINK IT'S GONA BE OK
I LIKE IT .

Thanks for the Hartwell report David. I have not been on the lake this year but have seen mixed reports and the better reports seem to be close to Martin Cr..
Helix 5 has a real good reputation, you made an excellent choice
I fish the georgia side, gumlog creek to be exact and I am going in the am, shall post with whatever happens. Thanks.
