Bluegill/Redear help on Kentucky/Barkley
Need some help. Don't care to venture out on big bodies of water so I have been concentrating on smaller bodies of water to fish for bluegill and redear. Don't care about crappie or bass, I only fish for bluegill and redear, no offense to those that do. Never have fished Kentucky or Barkley due to the intimidating size of those lakes. Figure it's a shame that I don't get out on them while I'm still above ground. Any suggestions as to whether the gill fishing is better on Kentucky or Barkley? Are there any protected coves that would be worth trying? Any recommended ramps for a 16' aluminum v-hull boat. Any advice I sure would appreciate. Thanks.
P.S. I'm a fair weather fisherman and only keep a few for a meal, no worries about me decimating the gill herd, heck, I'm not that good of a fisherman anyway.
