first thing would be to hit the plus sign and zoom in
Set top depth range at minus 5 and set bottom depth range to 25 as long as you know you will be looking in water less than that deep.
I would stop the unit by hitting the up down and sideways button. Then curser over to what I wanted to see and use the + button to enlarge the picture. After doing this you can also hit the mark button if you want to save it as a waypoint to come back there later.
yep, like roy said ref. to taking out some of the top depth and adjusting the depth level to 25.

There is also the possibility of speeding up the Chart speed on HB...or slowing the boat down on Lowrance to stretch out the echoes ...

Rick, you can increase the chart speed on Lowrance as well, at least on HDS 7 Gen 2, I don't know about other models.Quote:
