Well the weather was nice on the lake today, but soon as I pulled into swift island ramp I saw a bunch of those shiny boats and immediately knew boat traffic was going to be rough. Caught one keeper crappie on a minnow near the bottom, a few white perch, and a bunch of small largemouths. Nothing in the trees. Met some good guys at the ramp who gave us some fish to have a few to eat. Maybe the weather will stay nice and the bite will be on!

Man I am with you, we only had 6 keepers all over 10" but we caught them from 8ft to 25ft ,we didn't catch a single crappie after 11am could never get in them very scattered for us ,but did see some nice ones caught by a couple other guys after 11.Quote:

Yeah I saw some pictures on FB of a quite a few that a man and his wife caught, they were caught after we left, and they said they were biting good in the evening. Maybe this weeks warmer temperatures will get them to eating a little by next weekend.
