Douglas

I was wondering if anyone has been on Douglas.
I know it has come up about 16 or 17 ft since I was down. Was thinking of going Saturday if the weather holds out.

I haven't fished Douglas but ran up there this morning to pick up my boat which I keep at a campground on the lower end. It's still really low - maybe 20 ft or so - and very dingy. Did talk to a friend who fished Flat Creek yesterday. Said it was really, really slow.

Might try Douglas myself this weekend. Did yesterday's storms hit down there and muddy it up? I am in Johnson City and didn't get anything up this way, but heard Knoxville got blasted. I don't mind good color, but downright muddy is hard to fish. Thanks for any help.

I called down to Swann's earlier today for a report.... lady said the last couple of weeks that there has not been many fishing due to muddy water conditions.

Fished Flat Creek yesterday and the water had color but was not muddy at all. But maybe TVA filling the lake almost 2ft a day has scattered them a bit. Found a few small keepers towards the back of the creek in 15 fow. Water was 59F.

I saw a picture of 2 limits that came out of Douglas today. But that's all I know.
