Greenwood 3-20
Got out this morning and picked up 5 fish quickly in 8 FOW and then they slowed way down. Headed out to deeper water and ended the day with 18. Had to work for them though, one here and one there. Got most everything on jigs with pink in them. Pink jig heads, electric chicken, anything pink. Got a few on black and junebug, but pink won the prize today. Water temp was 56 when I left at 2:00.
Highlight of the day was meeting Raucous Rooster. It was good to meet you and to be able to put a face with a name from the boards. Hope you ended the afternoon with some fish.
Bigs for the day were two at #1 3/4. The little guy in the picture is for reference. ;)

Yep, I had the pleasure of following Bijhy down the Reedy to the confluence. As hard as I tried to copy cat him, I just couldn't keep pace. When he left I only had four. When he motored up to check out he shared the above keys to his success along with other very helpful advice. I left an hour later with an additional four but I just didn't have enough pink. I've got to expand my arsenal to include Electric Chicken (you'd think a rooster would have that one) and I didn't have any minners either. I'm learning.
Again, thanks so much for your help and encouragement.

Glad you figured something out. Sure was a nice day to be out fishing.

Some good crappie Dave, glad you were able to find enough willing to bite to give you a good count of fillets. I have never had much luck pulling pink on Greenwood but have used them on those days you really have to work to catch em.

Glad you got out. What is the water level like?

Down about 3 1/2 feet from full pool.
