Pro Charging System question

I have a Pro Charging System 3 bank pro series charger and I think it has bit the dust. It was manufactured in 06 and I called their customer service and they said they don't have parts to fit units back the far, just back to 08 :banghead. I have checked the fuses at each back and they are good but I am not getting any voltage across my meter at any banks. Have any of you ran across something like this that I might check and I am not seeing? I am almost to the point of yanking it out and looking for a new one of some type. Any help/info would be much appreciated in advance. Mods if I have posted this in the wrong place I apologize feel free to move it.

Unless there are internal fuses, that I doubt you could check. I have been researching chargers too and am considering this one. 5 year warranty parts and labor.

$50 more at BPS, but you could put it on 6 pay until the 27th of this month I do believe.

Some of the smart chargers will not put any voltage out unless they are hooked to a battery that is not completely dead.

I checked an they are around 12v on em now but not getting y reading out of my charger :(

What are the lights doing on the charger? Do they change over time? The way to test charger output is to measure battery voltage with the charger off, then measure battery voltage after plugging the charger in. You should see some voltage rise. Eventually it will go up to about 14.5-14.8V then it will head back down to about 13.1 to 13.5V.

Shouldn't I read 14 volts or there about's with the charger hooked up? On one bank 1 red light flashes, on another I get a green light and then it flashes 5 red lights before going back green, the last bank flashes green then 5 red then 3 red then back to green.

The voltage you get will depend on the state of charge of the battery. It tries to raise it up to 14.5-15V when the battery is deeply discharged, but until the battery is well along the charge process the charger can't supply enough current to raise the voltage that much. Once the battery is charged, the output voltage of the charger is reduced to the low 13s.

A blinking single red normally means a connection issue, a dead battery or reversed wires.

I found a blown fuse and I think that light of been the red light issue, I'm gonna check tonight when I get home. So let me ask you this, can I unhook a bank from the battery and get voltage across the leads or does it have to be hooked to a battery and the battery calling for a charge before it will show any voltage?

Needs to be hooked to a battery. That's the ignition protection function for Coast Guard compliance.
