Sure would like to take a trip this early June to catch some nice bluegills.
Florida sounds good... anyone know where to go, or have any info?
Thanks in advance

Dude, you're in Alabama, no need to go to Florida. Plenty of trophy bluegill instate.
Lake George, Harris Chain, Stickmarsh and Everglades. And if you can swing Everglades exoctics come in play and are just as tasty.
Too many gators, etc in the Everglades for me.
AL is packed with huge bluegills indeed (and I know where they are), but it's fun to take a trip every once in a while.
Okeechobee around Clewiston
Well then scratch Lake George, Stick Marsh and St Johns river off the list of possibilities. Maybe try the Disney lakes, they been keeping tabs on the lizards since that toddler was eaten. And yes that was a shame and my heart bleeds for his parents, a pure tragedy.
