ONLY 1 limit ?? is Grenada fishing this bad???
Not really. Take into account the size limit (>12") and then look at the total weights divided by the total number of fish caught by each team. Almost a 2lb/fish average in many cases. Grenada is not a numbers game lake, it's a size game lake.
Take into consideration the conditions. It was said on Friday, "I have never seen conditions this bad on Grenada during a tourney!" On Saturday the ole girl showed em just how bad it could get, it was worse.
Grenada is tough, especially with wind, rain and cold fronts.... fished all day Sunday for 3 keepers, one was over 2 1/2 lbs... Grenada will humble you this time of year https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dd2d1bb136.jpg

i figured the weather had to be brutal but 1-2-3 fish a day seems way bad to me
what were the weather conditions that made it so bad ??
Rain, water temp dropping due to cold front, wind that made it impossible to fish some productive areas, and rainwater entering the lake(muddy). Have heard of a few guys making trips down from out of state and fishing multiple days, never to see a crappie. Not that they are bad fisherman, but as I said, grenada can be TOUGH this time of year.
I can't imagine fishing Grenada under those conditions . Grenada has always been a hard nut to crack if they are not biting. Those guys did great ! I would have not even put in as it was . White Flag Icon
I read that over twenty five boats didn't go out the second day. Northeast winds over twenty five made it tough for even past champs to get more than three or four fish in the boat. Guys that won caught their fish one poling in 14 inches of water. They have the weigh in videos from both days up on their facebook page if you want to see them. Over an hour each day. Really interesting weigh ins. I think thats ACT.
Congratulations to all the winners and everyone that participated. I love to fish but I like living also. If the weather conditions gets very bad it is better to be safe than sorry(or dead).
