A friend and I didn't expect too much in that cool weather, but we caught a nice bunch of fish. I don't know if it was the color or the jig, but he was catching a lot more and bigger fish with a hair jig than I was with a tube. I have some hair jigs, but I never use them because I like to change colors often when not getting any bites and I hate to cut and retie. So, I dug into my box and found a beauty. He had an olive color. I found a blue with a white tail and an orange head. I immediately started matching him fish for fish . So there you go. Ended up with 30. Having trouble posting the pic for some unknown reason. Will keep trying.

My favorite tie, orange head blue and white body and tail. Y'all did good and you're a smart fella for following his lead.

That's a nice thing about two in a boat. Each can be trying something different until one shows best.
