Steve is one of the best around. He devotes countless hours to fishing and it pays off. The old fisherman stays on the fish on Monticello and Murray!

I couldn't believe the birds around his boat. Must be a ton of bait underneath him. He's catching some nice fish for sure.:cheers2
Those loons are bad at Monticello. If they see you throw a fish back they'll be all around you in no time looking for a handout. He's not joking when he says you have to get a fish in quick or risk losing it to a bird. They will take them off the hook!!!!

I was surprised that he caught most of his perch on what looked like a shrimp jig like you use for Redfish. He had a spoon on the bottom, crappie jig in middle and the shrimp jig on top. He caught several in a row off the top jig. Some big ones too. Monticello is where I first caught White Perch.
