Ft. Loudon 3/13/17

Went to Ft. Loudon today. Started out trolling in Poland creek. Caught 4 or 5 trolling, but all but one were short. Found some brush in about 15 FOW of water and caught 2 barely keepers on minnows. Moved to Sinking creek and got 2 more on a laydown in 29 FOW. Moved out to the main channel near Ish creek and found some laydowns in 30 FOW. Got 5 more keepers there and called it a day. Got another good one today, 16" TARP fish. Water temp was 54 and most of the big ones I caught were deep, right on top of the brush at about 20-25 feet down.

Sounds like you caught my pet fish! Did she answer to the name Gertrude? Seriously, good report. It sounds like the water temp has dropped a few degrees since last week.

Yeah, the water temp has definitely dropped some. It was 58 last Thursday, right before the cold snap hit. Watts Bar yesterday was about the same, 53-55 degrees.
