Depends on what you want to do with it really. If it's for the right kind of things it's great, but if it's to use as something to add a drop of glue to your chenille jig, then no. I have a couple different brands and types of UV Glue, but the good lights are expensive as is the glue it self.
So like I said, depends on what you want to do with it?

What are you wanting to use the glue for?
As Skip said, wouldn't be good for jigs, IMHO.
I use lots of it at work, by the gallon.
I also tie flys and was thinking about using it on tying crappie and bass flys for like putting on the heads and eyes.
I also tie flys and use it for things like making the carapace on the back of scuds. I buy my glue at Michael's in the jewelry making section and I got my hand-held light off Ebay. If you buy your glue from a Fly Shop you can get some that sets up hard like mine or sets up soft like rubber. Stuff from the Fly Shop is expensive though. Like every body else - depends what you want to do with it.
I used it on something I came up with a few years back and these did work. I called them In-Line Spinners. I used some color fly tying powder to color the UV Glue and then used it to make these. I probably should make more since I have the Propellers and all the stuff to make them, lol!
