When using two colors of paint like that I just dip and then have the other color open and use a small paint brush to drop a little of the other color by tapping the brush to drop the paint.
Yours look like they should do well though,

That's the way I do it to, but used a small craft sponge loaded with powder, then just tap it to drop the powder

I use a bristle brush and make sure it's not over loaded. Also some colors seem to load up more on the dip than others so I have to be careful how long I heat the ones that tend to get more than I want. I have a lot of nice artist brushes as I use to try to oil paint, but at some point I got away from that even though I enjoyed it. Still I bought a pack of cheap artists brushes from Hobby Lobby and use them for this.

Awesome Job Rob ! :ThumbsUp
I'm curious on the belly body color,
is it you powder it along with the head,
then use a heat gun, or is this a separate procedure ? :scratchhead
billygee
Those are same sweet jigs. Good job.
You just heat the head, dip in main color, then fast have other color ready and use a small paint brush that you have some of that dry powder paint on and tap the brush to drop the second color on while it's still hot. I hold the head over the cup of paint I am about to add so excess falls back in the paint cup, but some just hold over something to dispose of the extra I guess. Then if you want you could use more heat if it had cooled too much. That is where all I have to do it pass it back through the flame for a second of so.
