Broadwater?

Anyone try broadwater or stumphole lately for crappie or bass?

Not me

I tried it a week ago and caught 2 bass on a shad square bill.

I carried the light tackle in the boat but it stayed in the rod box because no one was having any luck with em.

That cold front messed em up......

I was in Broadwater yesterday. The water was real stained. Fishing was terrible, not one crappie. It's still hard getting past the new fallen tree just past the river entrance. Really a big disappointment. Talked with a coupe at the landing that I know and they had bad days too. They were fishing the sparkleberry side of the swamp. I feel sure that there had to be others that may have done better, but I didn't chat with any. Not very many trucks in the parking lot either, another bad sign.
