Sailfish and Tenncrappie
My partner and I travel to the far reaches today. About as far as you can go on Watts Bar( Emory River area) to dodge the wind. Pulled 1/16 jigs behind planner boards dressed with every brand, color and design made. really tuff to figure out. When we thought we had it nailed they wouldn't bite that anymore. Speed was .7 to .8 seemed to be the ticket. Finally boated the 30th at 12:45. Another day on the water is better than none. http://i1327.photobucket.com/albums/...psy0akwjoj.jpg

Good job in this weather! I was breaking in a new OB on the river today and it was windy as crap! Yall got it done! Congrats.

Nice morning. Glad you could find somewhere to get out of the wind!
Finally got to put some gas through my motor yesterday. Only caught 2 Crappie. However ran into a friend that shared his catch with me and my partner. Most of my and his fish were caught after lunch. Water temp. 50* - 53*. Felt good just to be out on the water again!

Great Job! Congrats on double limit on a ruff day!

Guys, I'm glad you're catching fish, but if you want to experience the kind of wind we have too fight to fish, make the short drive west to Oklahoma and we can hook you up. Tomorrow's forecast is only calling for 22 mph, which is lower than the 25-30mph we got to enjoy last week, with gusts up to 40. Oklahoma ain't no place for sissies this time of year!
