About to pull the trigger on the Helix 9 mega si GN2. I want to be sure of a couple things.
1. I can Ethernet them together?
2. What will they share?
3. Will I be able to see DI or SI from the Helix 9 on the 899? I will have the DI & SI turned off on the 899 so I
use the US2 on my trolling motor.
Currently there are limitations in the sharing between the 99 series and the G2N mega series since the 899 won't be able to share if chirp is on or if using the mega frequency.
It is rumored that the G1 Helix series will be updated to allow that sharing .... I don't know if that update will extend to the 99 series or not.
What about waypoint sharing?
Waypoint sharing should be fine.
