I had the same results late last week. Problem was it was only 1 fish but she had large egg sacks although not ready to spawn. If I remember right I was in 26 FOW. Mine was a white.

Pretty neat deal to see 2 crappie that size come out of the same lake and 1 is a black crappie and the other a white crappie

Mine came from 15-16 fow. Only 2 more about 1 inch shorter and 1 nice sand bass. The graph was loaded with fish at 20+ fow but no takers.
