Was on my way back to LR today and passed by the Gold Creek ramp on the highway. Quite a few cars there. Was wondering if anyone on here was there today and if you did any good. I'm trying to get an excuse to go. :D

I just got back. I fished around the old bridge. I was glad to see the fish are starting to suspend off the bottem a few feet but the fishing was still slow and caught more dinks than normal. Right round dark i ventured out into the creak into the shallow & found a few more keepers. All & all i caught 8 keepers... Pretty slow
Thanks for the update razor. I'm going to try to get out there as soon as I can. I'm in the middle of moving from LR to an area between Mayflower and Conway and I'll be real close to the lake. I'm dying to wet a line. What were the ones you caught hitting?
Well, that's a lot better than a strikeout. I think me and Gooch will be out there tomorrow afternoon. If anyone wants to load up the boat and brave the elements with us, come on out...
I haven't made up my mind if I will be here or on the Little Maumelle this weekend

Drpepper , little later come back up and fish Nimrod. The deeper pile we placed in the river channel is producing fish. Most are small for now. If the water temps will rise on up to 60 maybe the bigguns will want to stage. I'm still building condos and had to slow up this week because of the flu bug. When they start raising the water it may trigger their movement as well as the remps.:D
