I have my transducer mounted in the exact spot that Lowrance recommends and it works great at slower speeds.
When I get over 10 mph or so, I lose bottom and depth. I have my transducer mounted about 1/4" below the bottom surface of the boat. See the pics below.
I noticed it's causing spray behind the boat off the transducer with speed, but cant see exactly where the issue is. Can someone give me some pointers to hold bottom at speed? Will sonar and downscan still work if I raise it, even with the bottom of the boat?
