Wheeler Report 2/22-2/23

Fished Limestone Wednesday didn't do much good. Caught 9 and only had 2 keepers before I got blew off the water at around 1030. Thursday started again in Limestone and only caught 2 shorts by 830 so I ran to Flint and ended up catching 22 crappie total and 11 keepers. Still fishing 4-7 FOW water temp was up to 58 and color didn't seem to matter as long as it had some chartreuse in it. Limestone was still stained and Flint had just a little stain to it not much though. Looks like next year will be some awesome crappie fishing as many shorts as I have been catching.

Thanks for the report. Limestone can get rough if the wind kicks up. Sounds like the water temps are getting right.
