Had to send my first one back to lowrance, Back light went out, covered under warrenty, got another one back last thursday,Been on the water twice now and both times when I first turn it on the touch screen want work,had to celebrate the screen first to get it to work, After that it has worked fine the rest of the day, anybody know what is caused this?
Possibly low voltage issue. My 7 touch and 9 touch are super sensitive to low voltage.

Try looking in the settings to see if the HU is remembering your settings. It should for each screen.
I think its voltage issue, The boat wiring is small, may 18GA, I run a 10 ga wire to it sat, have turned it on about 10 times now and it has worked fine, I'll know more when I get out on the water.
