The first wave of quality fish came into Jacks three and half weeks ago. It was a lot slower bite last weekend. I'm heading down the lake tomorrow to try my luck long lining.

mayo,
Haven't been on Santee or Moultrie yet this year last weekend was on Clark Hill, may get there Friday or Saturday right before you and if I do I'll give you a shout out by PM or on here, Everything's is way early this year because of the weather, as Ink already said, but you should be able to find them where you have found them in the past. GOOD LUCK

Thanks guys just getting a little excited as time gets close and the season seams to be 30 days ahead of schedule here also,I caught 2 white crappie here Sat that looked to be spawned out and I wanted to cry just to think the season was that far ahead and i had missed it.
-
I would think the shellcracker bite will be on too. The crappie should be active as well. This crazy weather has us and the fish confused. Well, except for Inkdabber, he catches them year round no matter the weather.
-
From what I've seen and caught in several areas of the lake you will be just fine. The majority of the fish are still holding out. The full moon in March will be perfect timing regardless of how warm it's been.
-
THANKS GUYS hope to see yall on the lake, Blue and White 690 ranger that needs washing will be me.
