Lake Wheeler

Got the day off tomorrow and heading to Lake Wheeler. Anyone have experience on Lake Wheeler?

I tried Lake Wheeler Saturday with minnows and jigs - it was a nice day but the fish weren't biting for me or anyone else I saw. I was targeting crappie and got a couple of half-hearted strikes near points on the south side. Didn't see any bass caught but I may have missed it. Water was like chocolate milk.........
