Thank you for the hospitality

Just got back to Michigan after spending a week in your beautiful state. We got to spend some time with my son, visit with some friends and catch a few fish. We didn't catch a lot, but that's not what the trip was about. Everyone we met, from the folks in the bait shop to the fishermen we met on the launches, were very friendly. Thank you to everyone. Just out of curiosity, where were you visiting? I didn't see it mentioned.

The silver fish is a Freshwater Drum, aka Gaspergou, Rockhead etc. They do have at least two large "rocks" in their heads.

Dave840 we were staying in Calhoun, Louisiana and fished Darbonne and Poverty Point. I see you're from Illinois, I was eyeing Rend when we came past it, read some good things about the lake. It's only 7 hours from home so it just got added to my fishing bucket list. Yes, those are goo and they put up a heck of a fight on a 12' crappie jig pole.

20watt, I had to post some goo pictures, the guys here in Michigan were giving me a hard time about only posting my buddies fish, just had to prove that i can catch fish, too
