New to crappie fishing

Never really crappie fished......Wanting to learn how to target them. I live in NorCal with lots of lakes and rivers with in 30 mins. I fish from a kayak. Any good reads that will help me to learn?

fish shallow in the spring, bobber
three ft. leader with a trout magnet,
summer go deeper and look for bait
fish... invest in a graph is big time
for crappie's. Don't forget to fish
the tree's and other structure spots/
white and green color's are good for
me down here :twocents
