Lake Honey Hole
Attachment 258647Got to one of my favorite fishing spots yesterday morning. Water temp was 56 degrees. Started marking fish right away in 12-14ft of water. By 10 I was culling 1lb fish. As the day wore on, the water temp rose to 62 and the fish had moved to 8-10ft of water. My best colors were acid rain and blue/black/chartruese. About 75% of the females still had 2-3 weeks before the eggs would be developed enough to lay. That being said, the full moon in March is several weeks away. The 7 fish in the middle of the pic are all 2lb+ fish with the largest being 2.4lb. The rest of the fish ranged from 1lb 10ozs to 1lb 15ozs and a couple at 1lb 5ozs. For the next several weeks it's only going to get better.
Sorry the pic is sideways. Anytime I post a pic from my phone it comes out that way.
