So I've got a few days off here at the end of the month and am thinking of making a trip to the Grenada area. This would be my first destination fishing trip. I would rather go mid-late march but just can't. Wondering what input you all had on timing,motels,bait shops etc. any and all help greatly appreciated.
Grenada may be tuff that early.
Plan on going to Enid. Check for a cabin at state park or motel in Batesville. You can fish Enid and stand the chance of catching fish. Just a jump down to Grenada but like Ree's said could be pretty tuff that early.
Cossar State Park
Well we made it down to Grenada over the past weekend and took a pretty good beating. I will say however that I still had an amazing time. Went for drinks at the dry dock Friday night and at the hideaway Saturday. I couldn't believe how friendly everyone was. I can't wait to come back. What a beautiful area.
