Hi everyone! I am completely out of my element here. I am 62 and just getting back into fishing. When I was a young kid I went fishing as often as I could, and then around 12 or so I started in other directions, don't remember why. I eventually got into cars and racing and didn't, fish again until just recently. Both of my grandsons (a 21yr old, and 14yr old) like to fish, so I thought that fishing is a great way for us to spend additional time together. I am also getting close to retirement so I am ready for enjoying fishing again as I did as a kid. I have bought a Lowe Stinger 175 (used) and started getting reeducated as to what I need. I have been spending quite a bit of time reading this forum, so I thank you all for what I have learned, and even more so for all the knowledge and help I will gain in the future. So again A big thank you in advance!

Yea we are really looking forward to it. The wife and I are close with them, in fact the oldest grandson has lived with us for the last 6 years.

Very familiar with both Fenton and Valley Park. Many years ago we lived in the Fenton area in a trailer park by Springdale swimming pool between Hwy 21 and 30. And around 1976 and 1977 we raced stock cars at Valley Park.
