I just bought a composting bin and a few hundred red wigglers to use as bait.
What is the best way to hook a red wiggler and what size hook would you use with it for crappie, bluegill and other panfish?

hook size #4 or smaller, putting them is a trick in itself they don't like to hold still while you stick a hook in them, imagine that, I try to sort of weave them on making a small wad on the hook.
I raise my own red wigglers also. I fish them on a #6 or #8 teardrop lure depending if I am targeting Bream or Crappie.

You can't just tell us they work without a few fish stories. Seriously if they work as well as real worms then people need to know that.
I wonder if these are the same thing. https://www.amazon.com/Dimart-Silicone-Simulation-Earthworm-Lifelike-Red/
I have a lot of nightcrawlers in my yard what is the best way to store them, transport them, and rig them? While we are at it what do you think of these things to float the worm off the bottom https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KO1OM58/
