Hopefully this upgrade will fix some of the issues we've had. We'll see. But it's necessary before I take the next step, which will be a server move. We're moving to a big new server real soon. Bigger and faster.

I was touch and go there for a while this morning, but the upgrade of the software is done. yay

The move to the new server will be on another day. I don't do two big changes to a big system like this in one day, cause it's just too risky.

If you want them & don't get them - or - don't want them & do get them ... check in your profile under General Settings and see which option is checked.

I would think that since Ed is simply transferring bulk data from one server system to another, that no "changes" would occur. But, then that's been those "famous last words" before :Doh: .... so when the transfer is complete, check your settings to make sure they're what you want them to be.

He was upgrading the Vbulletin sofware Pappy......now he is working on the server change

Yep, I already upgraded the software (Wednesday night), and yep, am now working on moving the site to a new server. I tried to move the site Thursday night, and it failed. Seven hours of working on it on and off yesterday, and I figured out all the various issues. Anyone every tell you computers are a pain. Anyway, if I can get a nap in today, I'll try again tonight to do the move. We'll see.

OK, so for any issues anyone is having on the site, lets just wait till after the server move is done. No sense fixing something on the old server cause it's not going to be around very long at all. Thank you all for your patience.
