Does anyone use the 698ci si depthfinder

My neighbor runs 2 of them. Good unit. Same as 798 with 1 less card slot and I'm not sure but think it is missing a couple of preset buttons.

Looks like with rebate you can get one of these for $200 right now. I was tempted to upgrade my 587 cd hd di model. I could sell my 587 and it wouldn't cost me much at all. I have a small aluminum boat and really no place to put the new wide screen models. From my research I have done for side imaging you really need a wider screen so I think I will just stick with the DI model I have and not have to mess with installing a new transducer and all that.
