Any tips for the novice fishermen that fish from docks?

Use very 4 pound line and small spoon-jigs. Fish slow if you think your fishing slow fish slower.

Yes light line, ice jigs, small dark colored jigs. 60th oz small, black. Swedish pimple or kastmaster spoons smallest that they make. go to bottom or top of brush then slowly, real slow reel up. If you do not get bit reel slower.

Ultra light short rods work best. Slight bite so watch your rod tip.
