Lake of Egypt

Any reports on crappie at Egypt. We are planning a trip there this coming weekend. Any pointers would be appreciated

I went last weekend, I was told some fish were moving in shallow, however it was chilly and the wind was brutal. I did find some nice fish off points on the hot water end 25-35 fow trolling minnows. If I were in the bass tournament I probably would have done well, they kept us busy all day.

Went Sunday water temp was down, tough bite. The beauty of Egypt is you just never know until you get there, it changes day to day. Good luck! If you get down on your luck just venture up to crab....

Nchilders- I bet tangling with bass was fun, especially when trolling for crappie

It makes things interesting that's for sure! There might have been a few cuss words thrown around when all my long poles were tangled up!
