You talking about the SLAB DOCKT'R, from Bobby Garland? I think they are great, they have a wide body surface for skipping on the water. They work great casting it as well in my opinion as they are a little larger than other baits, and cast well for that reason.
PM me your mailing address and I'll send you out a package or two.
This is a new bait, I have used the slab dockt'r and it is a good bait for skipping under docks. Look on the bobby garland site and you will find the crappie shooter , just wondering if anyone has used it.
Yes we shot some docks with it seemed to do good.

NEW FOR 2017 1.5" Crappie Shooter
Compact, streamlined and aerodynamic, the Crappie Shooter is the perfect shooting/skipping bait. But its realistic shad-shape makes it a deadly lure fore whatever your fishing style. Rig it flat for shooting, and a darting, gliding fall. Rig it upright for a larger profile and for jigging or casting.
Ahh, this is what you're talking about. I'll have to get me some of those. I must have missed a press release about them. They sure do look good. I like that shape.

Check out the detail on it.
Looks good
I believe I saw them at the Grizzly Jig show, Thursday. Call Wade at Grizzly Jig and he should be able to
tell you for sure and how many different colors they have in stock, although by the looks of the herds of
fishermen that were coming thru on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, they may be in short supply. Also you
may wish to give the kid at "Crappie Pro Shop" in Carterville, IL a call. Every time I stop there it seems he
has any and all of the BG plastics. Tight Lines - Dave
Been rigging all my tadpole shaped baits flat since the beginning of last season and getting great results.
Tried them last Saturday at Lake of the Ozarks. They shot just fine, just no takers on the color I had ( Monkey Milk). Fish seemed to want red/chartreuse that day. Hard to have all the combinations of colors at any one time. Did try the new pull tabs from Bobby Garland, took them off and went back to just holding the jig head. If a person is hook-shy, the Pull Tab is a way not to get a hook in your hand. Just not for me.
