Indian Creek - two drawdown trips

I usually don't fish the winter because I suck at it, but with Indian Creek low, I wanted to go out there and see what was going on. I had two great trips, but only because I stumbled on stuff someone else must have put there long ago. I've never seen anyone fishing those spots, and the structure was only exposed due to low water. Then trolled over to a funny looking set of stick ups to find a laying down tree. Caught about a dozen off that. 25 or so from first trip with lots of lost giants(no idea what was going on) then anothe 15 last saturday. Lake is coming back up, so this appears to be over for me. Garland Baby Shads in Cajun Cricket, Monkey Milk and Blue Ice.

Don't stop now! Just remember those spots and go back!

Low water is the best thing for finding new honey holes if you don't have sonar.

I just got a Hook 7, but no idea how to use it. Going to practice with it a bit before the full on spawn when I'll have no need.

Nice looking fish! Yea those laydowns can save you in the tough times. If you don't know where any are than make some yourself and drop them out. Thanks for the pictures.

My sister in law is trying to improve the campsites and upgrade it alot. I'm about to get familiar with that lake. LOL!!!

It's pretty much my favorite campground. Or, it was until they started allowing golf carts. :banghead

1/2 want carts and 1/2 dont. LOL!!!

I agree PM the golf carts riding around playing loud music and drinking beer ain't for me. I liked it better when you didn't have to make reservations. I'd just move every 14 days to another site.
