high winds, heavy sea's

On the Stockton Lake, And boy's and girl's and fishermen of all ages when your line blows 10 feet from where the drop starts it's windy, probably 40 mph today, but found a place to fish, it was rough, to say the least, If you did not know how to see the bite your not going to catch a fish. It was rough, and then rougher. managed a good mess for sure, but it was hard, brown/chartruse, black/chartruse, purple/chartruse was the color of choice, ,, found some big balls of shad and followed them around, 30 to 40 ft of water, man it was a bear to hold the boat, but hear is the proof in the pudding.
It was a tough day but Rick Flint showed me a bunch.

A true fisherman who can hang out there in the wind. I thought you might just be fishing from the dock today.

It was tough out there today. Helped a feller out who put in by himself at daylight when we were taking out at 130pm the wind was blowing boats onto the dock and really could bang them around. Asked him if he would like a hand and he sure was thankful for us backing his truck down so he could load. Good job finding some.

the crappie professor is one tough dude, and he can flat see the tip of the rod move ever so slightly, hence if you don't know how to see the bite it is hard to catch crappie in the high wind, Rick has taught me a bunch about watching the line, and I got to say i'm getting there.
