Just got done collecting Christmas trees, and have concrete setting in 8 blocks, and 2 100 pound 2 1/2' by 2 1/2' boxes made with 3 trees in each on a forty five degree angle, for some standing trees. Going to get back to a little fishing tomorrow, concrete won't be set .

Hopefully I'll be off work fridayand can go try a couple new places

Going this weekend. Rented a cabin at Lake Talquin Lodge and hopefully the crappie will cooperate.
Last trip for me was on the 28th and did OK in the morning. The fish would bite for a little while an go cold - just quit. They would start biting again for while and quit like you flipped a switch. Managed 9 keepers - on was a real good fish.
I know I would like to see a picture or two of the 2.5'x2.5' setup. That sounds like a winner.Quote:
