I was hesitant to post this for the 3rd year in a row as our weather has not been favorable the last 2 years But here it is

GoBob, has there been any safe ice at Camelot yet this year? I have been 3 times to Duck Island, Dec. 26, Jan 7 and Jan 9. There was only 3 inches(but good, strong clear ice) each time. It is looking questionable for the next week again. Now that I am older and wiser, I don't take chances like I did when younger. I did catch a few nice crappie.
We had a couple days last Sun Mon but it has since gotten pretty unsafe We may have good ice for the make up date I believe is on Feb 11 About ready to sell all my ice fishing gear. We haven't had more than 2-3 days a year for the last 4 years. Feeling bummed 🎣

I know it really sucks. The sportsmans club usually makes a good chunk of change when we have ice. Money used from fish stocking to repairs or improvements around the property.
