Awful quiet

Everybody must be at the grocery store buying bread and milk for the blizzard that is coming. Stay safe everyone!

I hate to see the shelves in the stores around the upstate!! I'm sure it will be getting cold this weekend but they always cry wolf every time there is a small chance of snow. Wouldn't mind seeing a few inches without the ice!

Well, Ronnie, it looks like your area will get some snow. We seem to be at the lower edge of the forecasted stuff so we may just get rain and some of the dreaded ice that sends everyone into the ditch. Gonna be cold for sure. That's the one thing they all seem to agree on.

Had hoped to go fishing this morning but the rain looks to be right over the Ga./SC. Line so I'll wait until another day. A lot of people in the upstate has the crud that's going around and sure don't want to do anything to catch it! Looks like a few good days to tie a few jigs and flies.

Go away, go away! SNOW....... I had rather be fishing than dealing with snow!

I had planned on going this morning as they were calling for the rain to start late afternoon. Wife fussed so much that I did not go. I slept late and got up around 9 ish. It started raining at my house around 9:30. One time I am glad I listened to her. Yuall be safe and prepared for what we get if anything

I came down with the crud on New Year's Day. Bad caugh, nose pouring, the good thing is, all I REALLY have to do is lay on the couch. Maybe it'll go away in a day or two.

Well it looks like we missed the snow but got a little bit of ice here south of Charlotte. I can live with that! Powers on and I'm warm. Hope to get started with the fishing soon. Looks like the lake will be quiet a while longer. Brrrr 4 degrees!!! is forecast. Stay warm!

Woke up to ice covering everything , sleet from 8 to 845 about 9 it started snow. Not heavy yet, small flakes so far. I hope this is gone by morning.
Stay safe if you go out today, I don't think they salt the ramps

Nothing here, shouldve gone fishing. Instead smoked cured pork belly into bacon last night, making smoked baby back ribs tonight.
