Ouachita

Anybody hit Ouachita up lately?? I have not been yet this year, but am planning on going next weekend. Just curious if they are biting or not.

I am going to Mt Harbor next weekend myself. I may just nightstalk off the docks and fish my condos under the docks durring the day.

I tried for about an hour or so on Monday and didn't do a bit of good. The wind was howling. Should've fished for bass instead.

Anyone do any good on Ouachita this weekend? My crew stunk it up with the help of mother nature and some bait theives. We were nightstalking off the dock this weekend and found a few fish to bite on one of our tops. We just had a small can of roseys with us as this spot on the dock. When we were about to run out I went back to get more roseys and found that the coons had raided us and had eaten all or bait. They not only got the roseys that were still unopened in the bag but also the ones in the plano trolling minnow bucket. Obviously that killed the fishing for the night.

I think that I would've gone coon huntin' and used to livers to fish for big cats...Sounds like enough revenge for him eating all your bait just as the fish were beginning to bite...

Gooch.....Hate to hear that about the thieves. We didn't do anygood at Ouachita this past weekend. It was pretty chilly and the wind was blowing HARD! I couldnt even keep the boat in most of the places I like to fish. I did end up catching a couple though.
