For those of you that don't leave your locator mounted on your boat what seems to be the best way to go when it comes to storing your fish locator when not in use?
I looked at few cases online but wanted to get some input from you folks.

I have an 898 HB..keep it in a pistol case when traveling...no need to make a cut-out either...holds it very well
I think Harbor Freight also has padded cases ...

I use the electronics glove by Russell Marine on my HDS units. Then just put them in a small duffel bag. I like the hard case idea... but sometimes I put the graphs on the boat after I launch the boat or if it's parked in a slip, then I can easily store a empty duffel bag better than a hard case in the boat.
I saw a perfect size hard case with removable foam inside it at Sam's yesterday.
Thanks for all of the great ideas guys, I actually went to Harbor Freight to purchase a case which would have worked but then akaslyguy mentioned the case he seen at Sam's so since I hadn't totally committed to the one at Harbor I had to go check it out as well. It's there private brand Members Mark, It seems to be very rugged and well built for the price $19.00, plus it has water tight seal to boot, here's a few pics of the one I got from Sam.

What area was that in as Sams?
At my local Sam's they were close to the coolers.
Nice, I will check our local Sam's tomorrow.
