How deep are the fish on KY Lake? Thought about going tomorrow afternoon
Haven't been myself, but the guys I've talked to have been struggling. The few they have caught have been 12' - 16' on flats near the creek channels on jigs tipped w/ minnows, but like I said it has been REALLY TOUGH for them. If they aren't catching I know I wouldn't fair well.
I cought 18 nice keepers and a ton of dinks today fishing brush in 12' to 14' of water fishing 10' to 11' deep. :D
Well I just got back from the lake after fishing for a couple hours and caught 7 nice slabs measured about 14 in. or so. Not too bad for the little of time I was out there. Also talked to a guy fishing for yellow perch and said they were starting to spawn but I never caught any.
Hey Hillbilly, way to go. Sounds like you had a good day. How deep were you fishing and what did you catch them on? What type of structure?
Duplicated yesterday's catch of 18 keepers only these 18 today were much better fish and I didn't catch near as many dinks as yesterday. Still In that 12' to 14' range for me. :D
